More About Aylesbury School of Dance
Aylesbury School of Dance has been established for over forty years in the centre of Aylesbury. Offering classes to students of all ages and abilities on Weekdays from 4pm and Saturday 9-1pm.
Examinations are available in Both ISTD and IDTA. We also take on a show every other year, and with plenty more opportunities to perform and showcase the schools talent.
I joined Aylesbury School of Dance when I was 4 years old, and Gloria was my teacher. She inspired me to train and become a teacher myself. I would go in on a Saturday and help her with the baby classes.
When I left secondary school, I studied Performing Arts and A level dance. Then began training with the IDTA studying Associate Ballet with Yvonne Goute (President of the IDTA), and an IDTA Associate in Free Style Dance. In 2009, I started teaching Dance and Drama at the Aylesbury Vale Academy, teaching students GCSE and BTEC Performing arts and dance.
I now have over Ten years teaching experience in both a secondary school (The Aylesbury Vale Academy) and Aylesbury School of Dance. I also have qualifications in Exercise to Music (YMCA) and Aqua Aerobics (SPEEDO) working in gyms in the local area.
Teaching dance is my passion and I thrive from helping people to achieve their goals.
